This is the web space of Peter Marheine. As of 2009, I am a student of computer engineering at Michigan Technological University , with expected graduation in December of 2013. My privary areas of interest include embedded systems programming, but I am equally comfortable working at a low level on embedded systems or a high level on general-purpose computers.

I've worked in a few roles relating to hardware-software integration. At Marlin Technologies, I worked on the software driving modules in agricultural and other heavy machinery, while also providing support to in-house production with assembly of one-off units and reworking prototype modules.

At GE Aviation Systems, I developed, maintained, and integrated product test software, creating software that exercises products to ensure that they meet specified requirements before being sold. Some of the work at GE involved maintaining obsolete systems, which involved working with poor documentation and subpar tools to come up with workarounds for obsolescence.
